Made with calculated expansion and high quality technical materials in MD racing type philosophy:

Expansion made of pickled sheet metal 8 tenths like the best racing mufflers.

Exhaust flange with oval hole perfectly joined up to the round section, laser fabricated in 6mm thickness stable and ground after welding to have a flat surface with maximum seal.

Given the generous diameter of the manifold and the tight radius of curvature, the remaining space for attaching the inner screw of the exhaust flange is very small.

MD racing supplies along with the manifold a stud with an internal Allen bolt so it can be tightened properly and a special nut with 11mm hex instead of 13.

Make sure before assembly that the stud once inserted in the cylinder and tightened, does not go to impact with the inner curve of the manifold (see last photo) otherwise shorten by using an angle grinder.
