Descrizione
POLINI MOTORI has made this stabilizing lung that can be applied to any two-stroke engine, both small and large displacement, to
improve cylinder filling during intake.
The lung, placed between the carburetor and cylinder, or between the carburetor and reed valve, acts as a recovery tank for intake gases in
surplus. When the intake phase is exhausted, some of the fresh gas that might have escaped goes to fill the stabilizing lung. Later, when the piston rises and the intake phase begins, the gases accumulated in the lung escape by joining the flow
main coming from the carburetor. All of this improves the torque of the engine during low and high rpm passage.
