All Malossi cast iron and aluminum cylinders are divided by selection classes.

They range from selection 0 (smallest piston) to selection D (largest piston). Each selection step is equivalent to a 0.01 mm increase.



When placing your order, carefully check the selection as shown in the example below:

34 3448 is equivalent to selection 0
34 3448.A0 is equivalent to selection A
34 3448.B0 equals selection B
34 3448.C0 equals selection C
34 3448.D0 is equivalent to selection D


The following increments are available for cast iron cylinders only:

34 3448.40 equals the 0.4 mm increment
34 3448.80 equals the surcharge 0.8 mm


For pistons of older production, 0.2 mm - 0.6 mm increments are also available (e.g. 34 3448.20 - 34 4375.60).
