Descrizione
The Taipan is a very complex exhaust system that is hidden under the bodywork. It is almost invisible except for the silencer, but achieves very high efficiency. It is designed for combination with cylinders in the 120-150cc class. In combination with the Taipan, rear wheel powers of more than 25 hp are easily possible. It works very well on powerful cylinders such as the Quattrini M1L60 or Polini Evo. The corresponding cylinder control angles are rewarded by the exhaust with a wide power plateau and rich torque. Power input from about 6000 rpm, power peak around 8000 rpm, which, however, remains above 1500 rpm.
Exhaust material: steel, unpainted (paint or galvanic treatment is recommended for rust protection. Required control angles are on the standard class level of 126-130° for the overflow angle and 188-192° for the exhaust.
