The upgrading of the Big Deps engine and the Malossi crankcase, resulted in a deficit in the transmission of this vehicle, to remedy which the vast experience of Malossi engineers designed a complete Over Range, suitable to support constantly increasing performance.

This new system hinges on the new torque corrector Fixed Pulley, which has a larger diameter and absolutely state-of-the-art technological features. It is precisely the larger diameter of the pulley that allows it to achieve significantly greater gear ratio excursion than the original pulley with its significantly smaller outer diameter.

Malossi technicians have taken care in the smallest details in the realization of this pulley using special materials and a special type of thermochemical treatment, which gives a very high resistance to wear and an equally high mechanical strength. The new fixed pulley was made to ensure perfect operation when coupled with the Malossi torque corrector (Torque Driver), which has its own diameter.

In order to completely renew the transmission system and take full advantage of its exceptional technical characteristics, the Multivar MHR variator has also been updated, equipping it with new roller tracks, a new contrast spring and a new hub that is longer than the previous one and for this reason able to combine with a more powerful belt and optimize ratios. This new variator is the evolution of the previous generations: born out of the many years’ experience gained on race circuits and the Cad-Cam technology available today, it enables technical results at the highest level.

To take full advantage of the range of the new torque corrector unit and the powers now developed by racing vehicles, a new Malossi Special Belt toothed belt has been designed with an increased section and updated length that ensures maximum performance in all conditions of use (sold separately).

The integral completion of the OVER RANGE system also includes the Fly Clutch and reinforced Malossi Wing Clutch Bell Ø 107 and the Special Belt.

!Attention: after the installation of the Malossi Over Range it will no longer be possible to start vehicle by pedal, it will be necessary to use special starting tools (not included in the kit).!
