The Moped Racing muffler is one of the essential components for the tuning of a vehicle and is specially designed to give the engine a power increase in the medium and high revs.
It features a profile such that it can be fitted to ALL Ciao, Bravo, Si, Grillo mopeds and is sized to fit with ALL aluminum Racing heat units currently on sale.
Created for the most extreme elaborations, it presents a path to minimal losses that is decidedly eye-catching and able to emphasize the sporty vocation of each vehicle.

Technical features

Muffler

Designed for fitting in all Ciao, Bravo, Si, Grillo mopeds in coupling with Malossi aluminum thermal units. Made of special steel sheet (0.8mm thick), obtained by robotic T.I.G. and M.I.G. welding processes and handcrafted oxyacetylene riveted welding. Transparent painting.

Nozzle

Specially made for Malossi Moped thermic units: flange with ears for anchoring the support springs (no more need to drill the cylinder fins to connect the springs), profile obtained by high-precision laser cutting and fitting with hole made by high-precision CNC machines for optimal coupling with the exhaust duct.

With calibrated passage section for achieving the maximum available back pressure.

Silencer

Made of aluminum, Nitro blue anodized with end pipe embedded in the end cap for a more attractive design.

Muffler connection

Made by silentblocks and spacers (when required) attached directly to the frame, extremely firm and stable. Since this is an extreme installation, some minimal modifications to the frame are required. A drilling hole for fixing the silentblocks. Installation of the crankcase cover is not possible.



CAUTION: It is necessary to remove the original pedals and sprocket for chain engagement.
